VPCC Workforce Development Hosting Info Sessions at Grove Community

Virginia Peninsula Community College Workforce Development will present exclusive information sessions at Williamsburg’s Grove Christian Outreach Center Monday, Aug. 14. Taking place at noon and 5 p.m., the two sessions will highlight exciting career training opportunities for the fall 2023.

Each session will give Grove community residents an opportunity to learn about FastForward programs at the College’s cutting-edge Skilled Trades Center in Toano and its Historic Triangle and Hampton campuses.

Those looking to upskill, change careers, or advance are welcome to attend either of the two sessions. Workforce Development is excited to provide details about comprehensive training programs that are tailored to meet the demands of high-growth industries.

Highlights:
Financial assistance programs: VPCC is pleased to offer financial assistance programs that can reduce tuition costs – potentially even to $0 – for eligible participants.

Meal and childcare: Convenience matters. Complimentary meal and childcare services will be available during the event.
